This policy explains what personal information RozEats collects when you use our website and apps, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

Information we collect
- Your mobile number and name when you sign up. A mobile number is how you sign in with a one-time code.
- Delivery addresses you save, including the map location you pin, so kitchens and delivery partners can find you.
- Order history, wallet and payment records. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment partner Razorpay and are not stored by RozEats.
- For kitchens and delivery partners: name, address, food licence or driving licence details, photographs submitted for verification, and bank or UPI details for payouts.
- Messages you send us through the contact form.
- A delivery partner’s phone shares its location while a delivery run is active.
How we use it
- To run the service: show kitchens that reach your address, process orders and wallet payments, and deliver your food.
- To verify kitchens and delivery partners before they are shown or assigned deliveries.
- To send you messages about your orders and account by SMS, push notification or in the app.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
- Kitchens receive the details needed to prepare and hand over your order, such as your name and meal.
- Delivery partners see your delivery address and name during a delivery.
- Service providers who help us operate: payment, SMS, maps and cloud hosting.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Location
The app asks for your location only when you choose to detect or pin your address. Delivery partners’ location is used during active deliveries.
Your choices
- You can edit your name and addresses in the app.
- You can ask us to delete your account and personal information by writing to us, subject to records we must keep by law.
Security and retention
We use encryption in transit and restrict access to personal information. We keep information for as long as your account is active and as long as the law requires after that.
